D.E.W says some horrible, vile things, but this is not his talent. Saying horrible, vile things, yet somehow always being on the listener's side, is his talent. More absurdist than his great industrial-cabaret albums " A House for the Dead" and "I Have Forgotten...", he again displays his lyrical prowess. With a minimum of words and accompaniment, he can take a banal Richard Nixon monologue, and contextualize it into a gut wrenching narrative. S.E. Casey
